While I have 7 listings currently on the market, 6 out of my last 8 transactions were with Buyers. And even though interest rates are near the highest they’ve been in the last 22 years, Buyers are making offers, and all 6 of my Buyers closed on their homes for less than the asking price, and the Sellers paid most of their closing costs. One last thing: Because nobody’s re-financing right now at these interest rates, Lenders are getting very creative with their financing to get business, and on August 30th, my first-time homebuyer closed on her transaction with a 6.125% interest rate.
