Owning a Historic Home in Millwood – Featured in Spokane + Coeur D’Alene Living

If you haven’t picked up the most recent Spokane + Coeur D’Alene Magazine yet, head to your closest coffee shop to see our historic Millwood home featured in their latest issue, pp. 87-91!

Located in the middle of historic Millwood, this is just one example of several homes that are being restored in the historic West Valley. My wife and I have lived in the Northwood area for over 25 years. When we bought the historic (almost 100 years old!) Clearwater house in Millwood, we didn’t just want to live here; we wanted to add value to the Millwood neighborhood while honoring the home’s lengthy history. My wife Mary-Pat started tackling the lengthy renovation process and it soon became the home of our dreams. By keeping the old world charm and blending it with modern updates, we had a chance to positively impact the amazing community and neighborhood we live in, and we hope this inspires other families to tackle home renovations as well.

If you are thinking of moving to the Spokane area or are maybe looking of relocating within Spokane, keep Millwood on the top of your list. Its historic charm and incredible community are some of the many reasons we bought our home here and we couldn’t be happier with our choice.
